At the end of October, we went to this important manga convention to promote the Spanish edition of our Saihôshi, The Guardian and it was surprisingly successful, both for us and Ivrea, the publishing company. They arranged a signing session for Saturday and Sunday and tons of people came! (we even had to stay for half an hour more to sign them all) O_O the editor said he didn’t know we had so many readers (neither did we), and there was a big deal of them who didn’t even look inside the book before buying it (they already knew what it was). The books they had brought almost sold out during the three days of the con.

This year has been more crowded and stressing than ever, I didn’t even have time to take photos >_< but in the convention website there are tons of them. We have a incredibly growing manga industry here, as you can see. Here is the girl from Ivréa, setting up the booth.

Como sabéis, Saihôshi, El Guardián salió a la venta el pasado Salón del Manga de Barcelona. Tanto a la editorial Ivréa como a nosotras nos sorprendió gratamente lo bien que funcionó. Nada más llegar, el editor nos comentó que le había sorprendido la de lectores que teníamos (y a nosotras!) y que la mayoría ni siquiera ojeaba el interior del tomo antes de comprarlo (ya venían sabiendo lo que era). Los tomos casi se agotaron en los tres dias de la convención. ^_^
