A bit late, but here it is the sketch of the week… Thanks to Aniiken for suggesting it.
SPOILER warning for English readers. / Un poco tarde, pero aquí os dejamos con la sugerencia del chef… digo, del miércoles. ^^U. Gracias a Aniiken por sugerir esta escena y, advertencia a los que no hayáis leído el ultimo capítulo, es un poco spoileadora.

Phew! We did it just in time. We finally decided to mix up several of your suggestions, and the result is this sketch of the two brothers as kids, having a fight. We hope you like it. / Uf, casi no nos da tiempo pero aquí lo tenemos. Al final, decidimos hacer una mezcla de varias de vuestras sugerencias y el resultado es este bocetillo de los hermanos de niños, peleándose. Esperamos que os guste.

Although they seem to be of the same age, Yinn is a year older. / Aunque puedan parecer de la misma edad, Yinn es un año mayor.



We’re looking forward to read your suggestions for next Wednesday. Just one thing: Have in mind we don’t have much time, so if you ask not-so-complicated things, there are more chances we’ll draw them. ^^ / Esperamos nuevas sugerencias. Una cosilla: tened en cuenta que no tenemos mucho tiempo así que si pedís cosas sencillas, más probabilidades hay de que las dibujemos. ^^

Yinn with a hostile glance. / Un boceto que se quedó en el banquillo la semana pasada: Yinn con cara de pocos amigos.

This is the beginning of the daily drawing. / Empezamos la semana del dibujo diario >:)

This doesn’t mean we won’t post anything else. So maybe there’ll be more than an update per day. / Eso no quiere decir que no pongamos otros posts aparte del dibujo. Así que puede que haya más de una actualización al día.

This sketch is a bit old, but we hadn’t had the chance to show it sooner. Although it’s unfinished, we liked the pose and did something similar in the illustration of him and his brother face to face. / Este boceto es algo viejo, pero hasta ahora no habíamos tenido la oportunidad de mostrarlo. Aunque no llegamos a terminarlo, la postura nos gustó e hicimos algo parecido en la ilustración de los dos hermanos enfrentados.

The fact that Yinn has a brother was one of the reasons to write Redemption. The character design was already clear in our minds. He was going to be alike Yinn, so we only had to change his hairstyle a bit. / El que Yinn tuviera un hermano fue uno de los alicientes para hacer Redemption. El diseño del personaje ya lo teníamos claro. Iba a parecerse a Yinn, así que lo único que teníamos que cambiarle un poco era el pelo.

We imagined him with long hair. From that idea, we started testing. Here you can see some examples. / Nos lo imaginábamos con el pelo largo. En base a eso, fuimos probando. Aquí tenéis algunos bocetillos.







Eventually, we decided his hair would be not that long./ Al final, decidimos que no fuera demasiado largo.



In the above illustration, which we did for the Bishie Con we still didn’t have developed him completely. We didn’t like the idea of him having the same clothes but in a different color than Yinn’s, even if in that illustration it looked funny. / En la anterior ilustración que hicimos para la Bishie Con aún no le teníamos diseñado del todo. Eso de que llevara una ropa como la de Yinn pero en otro color no nos gustaba, aunque en la ilustración tuviera su gracia.

So the next thing was to find a fancy suit for him. / De modo que lo siguiente fue buscarle un vestidito.

To finish up, this still WIP picture (we have to add color and the tattoos) is the final complete design. / Y por último, éste dibujo que está en proceso (falta colorearlo y añadir los tatuajes) es el diseño definitivo al completo.
